I really want to move this whole thread to Josh's forum. Not the place for it, we don't even advertise our own events here.

Thoughts?

Harborne Blue. Getting on my tits

I've just re-read my post and if I p*ssed anyone off can I apologise? I'm sure that everyone on this forum does more that buy the odd poppy.

I'm playing this weekend at Fireball (weather allowing) and am speaking to the other members to try and get a WW2 game off the ground already. I'm going to try and persuade them to do this for the Nov game when we usualy do something for the Poppy Appeal or similar and to do something like add a couple of quid to the game fee that we can pass onto H2H.

Can we count on CiA support for this?

I really want to say no. Fireball is the one site CiA will NEVER cooperate with. It's too small and I've too much bad history there.

I'm not sure what HB is up to anyway - kite flying I think. Gaz has already spoken about a WW2 game there and it hasn't happened yet. Anyway, two other games in Nov!

If it does happen then CiA's involvement will be no more than allowing use of the forum in the interests of community spirit...

Heard an advert on Kerrang radio this weekend about airsoft and a competition to enter a skirmish as the new Gunman site in Balsall Heath (nr Brum)

http://www.kerrangradio.co.uk/Article.a ... 9877&spid=

The Grange site is a whopping 10 acres......

Quality ! Dels a star

BTW grange airsoft ....Gucci went there for a very gay Star wars thing. It was run by a couple of LU studes in a farmers spare field c/w caravan ...probably why gypo Josh fancied it .

Wrong end of the stick there - you are talking about Grange Farm airsoft (I played there when they opened - they are mates with Gucci and KGB) and nothing whatsoever to do with 'The Grange'

Still, looks like Josh has realised WW2 isn't the cash cow he was hoping for and is looking to the LARPy/Fantasy market (which he shouldn't have taken his eye off really...)
